Dr. Paul M. Hyman
Dr. Paul M. Hyman is a founding partner of Hematology Oncology Association of Western Suffolk P.C. He did his undergraduate studies at MIT, and his medical studies at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Hyman completed his medical residency and fellowship studies on Hematology & Oncology at NSUH (North Shore University Hospital), part of the Cornell University system, with rotations at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is triple boarded in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology, and has been Chief of Hematology Oncology at Southside Hospital from 1989 to 12/2008.
Dr. Hyman’s past achievements include Medical Director of Hospice Care Network for 10 years, and Chief Medical Officer and President of the American Cancer Society Eastern Division & Long Island Division.
Dr. Hyman is an honest, caring, and compassionate physician who maintains a continued interest in cutting-edge technology; working with cooperative groups and industrial protocols to offer his patients the latest & best therapies available.
